EMCDDA offers its sympathies to earthquake-struck Croatia

A large earthquake rocked Croatian capital Zagreb on 22 March, increasing the strain on the country’s emergency services, which are already challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic. The EMCDDA offers its solidarity to Croatia, in particular to the country’s Reitox national focal point (hosted by the Institute of Public Health) and to Ombudswoman Lora Vidović, whose offices were damaged in the disaster. The agency fully supports the country in its current six-month Presidency of the Council of the EU.
