European Web Survey on Drugs online group meeting

The European Web Survey on Drugs (EWSD) has already been implemented in 2016 and 2017 in a total of 16 European countries. The next round of the EWSD will run in 2021 in over 30 countries, including for the first time the six beneficiaries covered by the EMCDDA-IPA7 project. The master questionnaire will be translated into 29 national languages.

As in previous rounds, the EWSD will be implemented following the same methodology in all partners (preparatory phase, questionnaire, data collection, and timeline), with some specific adjustments in recruitment strategies and other items of national interest. The EMCDDA has been coordinating and assisting each of the partners to ensure that the methodology is followed, but the work is being carried out at the national level by experts contracted for this purpose. The EWSD group meeting of 10 March will be the last one before the launch of the survey on 18 March.
